Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Camilleri Kamsky to the position of General Manager from Hotel Manager at The Westin Dragonara Resort.

Mr Camilleri Kamsky started his career with Starwood Hotels and Resorts as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Westin Dragonara Resort in 2003, which was followed by the position of Hotel Manager in June 2007.

Michael Kamsky’s experience in the travel industry goes back many years, when he joined the airline industry in 1968 and launched various Marketing Departments within Air Malta. Later he was country manager for Switzerland and France based in Zurich and Paris respectively.

This was followed by a five-year stint in Australia in the airline travel industry. In 1987, as general manager, he set up Virtu Ferries and later he was instrumental in establishing Emirates Airlines online services to Malta.

In 2003 he joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Westin Dragonara Resort.
