The modern Club 2-22 nestled within the majestic Valletta bastions was the venue for the HSBC home loans summer sale quiz party in which 10 HSBC home loan customers competed against each other to win one of 10 prizes. The customers were randomly drawn from a list of customers who took up an HSBC home loan or Maxicredit during the HSBC home loans summer sale which was held between June and July. During the sale, all customers who took up a new home loan and Maxicredit enjoyed various discounts on fees and other offers on HSBC lending, credit card and life assurance products.
During the quiz, which was hosted by DJ Gianni, the participants were asked to answer a set of multiple choice questions on sport, cinema, geography and general knowledge and were then assigned a prize according to their score. Up for grabs were some great Samsung prizes, made available by Sound Machine Ltd, local agents for Samsung.
While the scores were being tallied, the competitors and their guests were treated to some of Club 2-22’s great wine and finger food and then it was time for the presentations.
Elaine Pace Rota won first prize which consisted of a 46” Samsung LCD TV and a home theatre system while the second prize went to Julien Cachia who won a Samsung fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. The third prize, an 18,000 BTU Samsung airconditioner, went to Marion Borg. Consolation prizes consisting of camcorders and mobile phones were won by Joe Attard, Vincent Magri, Sharon Camilleri, Karen Mifsud, Hassan Ghanem, John Vella and Josephine Grima.
