A number of head of departments and managers recently teamed up on a Saturday morning for olive picking at the Sunken Garden at The Westin Dragonara Resort.

Everyone gave a helping hand in picking the olives which were then taken to Monte Kristo estates for pressing.

The group then was able to learn about the process which turns olives into oil and then enjoyed a lovely Maltese lunch accompanied by the freshly pressed oil spread on Maltese ftajjar for tasting.

Westin guests will soon be given the opportunity to also purchase this olive oil from The Westin Dragonara Resort.
