Banif Bank (Malta) plc said that it has reduced its base rate from 3.5 per cent to three per cent with effect from last Friday.
The decision has been taken in light of the recent developments announced by the European Central Bank.
Banif will be offering minimum interest rates of one per cent on personal savings accounts and 0.75 per cent on current accounts, making Banif one of the most interesting options for depositors in the market.
