Vodafone is giving away a variety of its services and devices to this year’s L-Istrina. An array of Home Internet packages, Internet Keys, iPhones, BlackBerry and other phones are being donated to the annual initiative, to a value of around e12,000.

“Once again, Vodafone has decided to help the Istrina team, whose aim is to raise as much money as possible for charity, over the twelve hours from noon to midnight on December 27,” said Ms Gemma Mifsud Bonnici, Chairperson of the Vodafone Malta Foundation.

“Vodafone’s donation of alluring hi-tech devices will help Istrina maintain its success story.”

L-Istrina is both a celebration of the Christmas spirit of giving and sharing, as well as a very important source of funds directed towards aiding people in need from all walks of life. The ethos behind Istrina is to offer a sense of hope to people in need while emphasising Christmas unity, fraternity, caring and giving freely without expecting anything in return.
