As has been the case over the past years, GO pledged its full support to l-Istrina. In fact, the company has committed a total of more than e35,000 in prizes, cash donation and services in aid of Istrina 2008.

GO donated more than e14,000 worth of prizes including all four communication services, such as the Home Pack service, BlackBerry smartphones, mobile phones and more. In addition, GO sponsored two of the cars that were raffled in the show. GO’s cash donation amounted to e5,000, which included proceeds of a staff Christmas event held recently.

Apart from this, as main sponsor of Istrina 2008, GO provided the entire communication infrastructure for the donation lines and other services free of charge at MonteKristo Estates. Once again GO will be waiving all call charges for Istrina phone-in donations. Based on last year’s proceeds, GO donated l-Istrina the total of e32,000 worth of call charges.
