Paranga looks set to maintain its popularity throughout the coming spring and summer months, creating a gourmet culture that lets diners grasp a true understanding of real Italian food and wine. Nestled in the corner of St George’s Bay, St Julian’s, Paranga offers stylish yet casual dining, with stunning seaviews and literally set on a teak deck above the water.
“We want to build a restaurant that lets the food entertain you,” said InterContinental Malta’s Italian born-and-bred Director of Food & Beverage, Gianluca Scala.
“In Italy, eating isn’t just an indulgent and enjoyable pastime, it’s a way of life!”
The team at Paranga has dedicated much time investigating what the best produce from Italy is, and when the time is right to import these items over, to be used together with the freshest local produce available. Every month, the imported and local seasonal produce will allow the chef at Paranga, Massimo Marino, to create a selection of new and different dishes to make each dish authentic, as well as tasty.
For the wine lover, Paranga will be introducing the world’s leading wine serving and preservation system to offer its esteemed clients an unrivalled range of quality wines by the glass, carefully selected to offer an excellent choice for the adventurous at heart.
