The Malta Funds Industry Association has launched its new website www.mfia.org.mt. This new site provides highly useful information on Malta’s fund industry and details on the country’s comprehensive regulatory and legal framework, which has positioned Malta as one of Europe’s fastest growing financial centres.

Visitors to the site will find key information on the setting up of UCITS III Schemes together with details of the three classes of Professional Investor Funds that can be set up under the Investment Services Act. Another section provides useful information on the key operators providing services to the industry while a number of useful links can also be found on the website.

The site also provides industry led information and the way this has evolved over the last decade. With the growing importance of e-communication the launch of this website has become essential and it will provide a dynamic channel whereby information on Malta’s fund industry will become readily available to those operators who are looking closely at Malta as an alternative EU fund jurisdiction.
