Atlas Insurance has launched a new service on its website that enables clients to generate a boat insurance quote in a few simple steps.

Through Atlas’ homepage, www.atlas.com.mt users can now select “Online Quote” in the boat section. Clicking this button will take the user to a new web page that asks for the required details to generate the boat insurance quote. This is done in two simple and straightforward steps. In Step 3 the system calculates and displays the annual premium on screen.

Users are then given the option to contact Atlas Insurance to obtain more information on the insurance or for ways in which the client can purchase the insurance.

“Starting way back in 2007 when Atlas pioneered travel insurance sales on Internet in Malta, this new online service is further proof of Atlas’ customer service commitment to offer more convenience to clients. As well as strengthening its branch network and offering wider opening hours, we are also committed to increasing the services we offer online which enable access 24/7,” explained Jackie Attard Montalto, Atlas’ marketing manager, “The Atlas e-commerce project teams also spend a lot of time in the development of web services in order to make the facilities offered as simple as possible for the user, avoiding long forms where users have to enter excessive or inessential details.”

Other services offered online to Atlas’ clients include the purchasing of travel insurance, quotes for home and health insurance together with the facilities to pre-authorise health insurance claims for in-patient hospital treatment and the payment of claims excesses online, which avoids clients having to use more time-consuming traditional methods of payment.
