A fund raising event in aid of the Assocjazzjoni Voluntarji Lourdes was recently held at The Palace Hotel in Sliema. This activity consisted of an interesting lecture on the practice of Yoga followed by a live Sushi Bar demonstration and finally a sumptuous lunch at The TemptAsian Restaurant.

Mrs Josephine Xuereb, chairperson of the AX Foundation on whose initiative this activity was organised, greeted and thanked the participants, on their arrival at The Palace, for their support.

On conclusion of the lecture by Yoga Instructor Zoya Lu, the participants were served with warm drinks and were all presented with a gift voucher which included a free facial treatment by Marion Mizzi Wellbeing Salon. A percentage from the sale of costume jewellery was also donated by the concessionaire of the stand towards this worthy cause.
