GlobalCapital Health Insurance Agency Ltd, representatives of Bupa in Malta pledged their support to the Malta Blood Donors Association by being one of the sponsors of the International Federation of Blood Donor Organisation (FIODS) General Assembly which took place between 17th April and 19th April, where FIODS executives, Maltese MEPs and the President of the Republic attended.
The goal of the International Federation of Blood Donor Organisation is to ensure that all Member States provide blood donations through the generosity of unpaid, voluntary blood donors within their country to patients in need. At the same time they aim to increase confidence in the national blood supplies as much as possible by harmonizing the minimum security standards for donations and inspection.
