Over e500 were raised for Bay Kids by GlobalCapital during a dress down day organised to raise money and awareness about this charity. A substantial amount was raised by GlobalCapital staff members whilst the Company contributed in an equal amount.

All employees were able to swap their suits and skirts for the classic jeans and t-shirt look upon a payment of e2 towards the Bay Kids charity.

“Bay Kids has helped a number of institutions that offer shelter and security to children in need. We are extremely pleased to have been part of this event especially since it was for a cause that is held close to everyone’s hearts. Children should be cared for and given the childhood they all deserve – Bay Kids helps facilitate this cause and for this reason we were more than willing to help raise money for their cause” said Mr Nicholas Portelli, Chief Executive Officer, GlobalCapital.

The Bay Kids campaign has already managed to raise a substantial amount of money through similar events. Last year’s edition raised e29,000 which was donated to the Fra Diego Home for girls.

For the past 21 years, GlobalCapital has provided a one-stop service point for individual and corporate financial services requirements, with a special focus on financial portfolio management, fund advisory, life insurance, private medical insurance, insurance broking and property.
