The Singer’s Festival Ilhna Tad-Deheb was recently held at the Topaz Hotel, Bugibba. All those who attended were full of praise for the organisation and the high level of the participants. The event was organised by Stardust Promotions and presented by singer Romina Mamo. The results are as follows:

Section A: seven to 10 years

1st: Michaela Agius; 2nd: Nicole Galea; 3rd: Sarah Bonnici; 4th: Maria Christina Desira

Best Presentation: Enja Magri

Section B: 11 to 13 years

1st: Chantelle Farrugia; 2nd: Mikhail Attard; 3rd: Simarija Galea; 4th: Charlene Cardona

Best Presentation: Kirsty Balzan

Section C: 14 to 16 years

1st: Domenique Azzopardi; 2nd: Chantal Dixon; 3rd: Francesca Bartolo; 4th: Esilana

Best Presentation: Valentina Buhagiar

The Best Interpretation prize went to Graziella Vella and that of Public Opinion to Tanja Brincat.

The overall winner of the Festival was Chantelle Farrugia who will be representing Malta in the Little Shells Festival in Serbia.

Entertainment was provided by Cute, Kyle Drackard and Marija Galdes. The next event by Stardust Promotions is the original Maltese Song Festival, L-Ghanja Tal-Maltin.
