A Form 3 class from Blata l-Bajda Girls’ Junior Lyceum has won the award Qalb San Gorg Preca for kindness and solidarity. The students had been nominated for their kindness and solidarity towards a particular classmate, which made it possible for this student to carry on with her studies, lesson notes, class work and homework even when it was not possible for her to attend school.

This was the second edition of the award organised by the education commission of Hamrun local council to promote noble values such as kindness and solidarity among pupils in all the schools within the council’s confines.
