As part of its ongoing commitment to support local councils in improving their community’s environment, HSBC Malta has partly sponsored the refurbishment of the picnic area at the scenic Ghar Lapsi, limits of Siggiewi.

During a visit on site to explain the work carried out in the picnic area, Siggiewi mayor, Architect Robert Musumeci, thanked HSBC for providing some of the funds required to revamp the area.

“HSBC’s assistance has enabled us to improve the recreational facilities available not only for the people of our locality but also for the rest of the visitors, including numerous foreigners, who come to enjoy the exceptional beauty of this place, which is a national heritage,” Mr Musumeci said.
