The 4th Edition of the Wine Experience organised by P. Cutajar is back, and scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. As in previous years, the Wine Experience will be held at the quaint Razzett l-Abjad and promises a delightful experience for the taste buds of wine buffs and aficionados. Five foreign experts and wine masters will be attending the event and will share their expertise and experiences during workshops and informal talk.

Cutajar & Co Ltd. “The availability of such an extensive range of different wines for sampling, coupled with the experts who are flying to Malta specifically for the event, promises yet another successful and attractive event for wine lovers. As one of Malta’s leading players of imported wines, P. Cutajar is once again investing considerable effort to make this educational and entertaining event a successful one.”
P. Cutajar’s Wine Experience, now well established in Malta’s rich summer wine and culture calendar, is offering patrons no less than 40 different wines from various regions of the world including the well-known regions of Piedmont and Verona, as well as other regions from France, Chile, South Africa, California, and this year also Portugal. They will also have the opportunity to buy any of the wines to take home and enjoy.
Representatives from Portugal’s Altas Quintas, and Italy’s Martini, Bersano and Pasqua as well as from Grand Chais de France will hold five different tutorials that will be held by the pool, offering tips on wine appreciation, grape origins, differences in grape varieties, wine regions of the world, fermentation processes, and the background and history of wines imported to Malta and enjoyed by local consumers.
“We are targeting people who would like to enhance their knowledge about the wine world and who would like to know more about the wines they are buying, and promise an enjoyable evening or two in the company of fellow wine lovers and connoisseurs” added Denis Zammit Cutajar. The tutorials will focus on wines from Veneto and Piedmont, wines from the Bordeaux region, Martini sparkling wines and great wines from Portugal.
Guests will be greeted by hostesses who will guide them towards different stalls to swirl, nose and taste the wines. Booking for the tutorials is high recommended as space is limited. Admission fee is 5 euro per couple, which amount will be given back as tokens towards purchase of wine, discounted for the occasion. The wine tasting is unlimited. Doors open at 7.30 pm.
