Shakespeare’s ‘Comedy Of Errors’

Right from the heart of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, Shakespeare’s globe Touring will be performing the comic masterpiece The Comedy of Errors for the audiences of the Malta Arts Festival on 22, 23 and 24 July at Argotti Gardens, Floriana at 9pm.

In the spirit of the renaissance a troupe of eight travelling players reinvent touring theatre for the 21st century. The comedy, a hectic and hilarious tale of estranged brothers and twin servants kept ignorant of each other, is full of cross purposes and manic

slapstick.

The Comedy of Errors is directed by Rebecca Gatward, designed by Liz Cooke, composed by Alex Silverman with choreography by Sian Williams. The cast are Ronan Raftery – Antipholus, Sarah Ridgeway – Adriana, Dana Gartland – Luciana, Miltos Yerolemou – Dromio, Cornelius Booth – Dr Pinch/Egeon, Philip Battley – Angelo/Duke, Johanne Murdock – Abbess/Courtesan and Sophie Scott - Merchants.
