Now that the House of Representatives has risen for its summer recess, it is possible to draw up a list of the most loquacious MP in the House, and the least loquacious one.
Definitely, the MP with the most to say is former minister Censu Galea who spoke for a total of 33 times. All kinds of spoken interventions are considered in this list, provided by the House itself.
Next comes former Parliamentary Secretary Edwin Vassallo with 31, the Labour Party’s Owen Bonnici with 27, Franco Debono with 22, and Jose Herrera and Philip Mifsud at 21.
Two MPs have spoken just once in this ninth legislature – Karmenu Vella and Ninu Zammit. Louis Deguara spoke twice.
Evarist Bartolo asked the most parliamentary questions (912) followed by Censu Galea (778) and Anthony Agius Decelis (757).
