Azzjoni Nazzjonali said that during the launch of the 2009 Ernst & Young report, a number of statements were made, such as that the private sector must be the driver for the government to make the moves or else it would wait a long time, that a more comprehensive and faster action is needed to attract investment before “it is too late”, and that Malta still offered a cheap option instead of focusing solely on an expensive, top quality service.

All such points were in line with the vision Azzjoni Nazzjonali presented to the electorate at the last general elections, the party said, adding that now that another voice has been added to its own, perhaps the government will start to listen and, more importantly, act on good advice.
