Jesmond Mizzi Financial Services Limited (JMFS) and Atlas Investment Services Limited (AISL) have agreed to merge.
The new merged company is to be named Atlas JMFS Investment Services Limited.
Commenting on the reason behind the merger both companies explained in a joint statement that,” The merger will strengthen and enhance the quality of our service and commitment to all our clients’ investment requirements. We are convinced that our combined track records, solid financial standing and reliability will greatly benefit our collective client base.”
Jean P. Gaffiero and Jesmond Mizzi will be joint managing directors and initially operate from their respective offices in Abate Rigord Street, Ta’ Xbiex and South Street, Valletta.
John Catania and Mark Azzopardi will also serve as executive directors with Mr Catania as operations director while Mr Azzopardi will be finance director.
Atlas Investment Services Ltd dates back to 1996 and holds a Category 2 Investment Services licence issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority. Throughout the years it has focused mainly on high net worth investors offering various services while acting as a member firm of the Malta Stock Exchange.
Jesmond Mizzi Financial Services Limited was set up in 2002 and was issued a Category 2 Investment Services licence by the MFSA. Over the years, the company has offered a comprehensive range of financial products and services designed to meet the various needs of its personal, corporate and institutional clients. Three years ago the company acquired the client base of a leading local financial services provider as part of its growth strategy.
