CharterX Professional Plus member and Wyvern-Recommended operator Comlux Aviation has announced that it has started to operate its fourth Airbus ACJ family aircraft, becoming the premier Airbus VIP aircraft operator worldwide.

The brand new Airbus ACJ, completed by the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre in Toulouse (in which Comlux is a shareholder) and registered in Malta under Comlux European AOC, is operated by Comlux Malta on a fully private basis from Madrid.

Stephen Laven, CEO of Fly Comlux division says, “This additional aircraft, joining our VIP fleet, demonstrates another time our strong aircraft management skills and the quality of our VIP operations. Thanks to our Group synergies, the new structure that we put in place in Malta last year is developing very quickly. It allows us to fly freely between all EU member states and to offer our customers seamless convenience and comfort, whatever they fly commercially or privately.”

“Due to the ultra-modern connectivity and entertainment systems installed in the cabin, the aircraft has received the nickname of ‘space-shuttle’,” says Angie Bhorania, Comlux Chief Cabin Attendant. “To allow a smooth and trouble-free operation of all the cabin features, our flight attendants have followed a special training at the Airbus Training Centre in Toulouse.”

The Comlux VIP fleet comprises of 15 aircraft: two Airbus ACJ, two A318 Elite, three3 Bombardier Global Express (including two XRS), two Global 5000, two Challenger 605, two Challenger 850, one Falcon 2000 and one Hawker 850. This includes three aircraft managed fully privately (one Airbus ACJ, one Global 5000, and one Challenger 605).
