Marsovin has recently conducted a tasting session led by its Oenologist Philip Tonna, Viticulturist Philip Tonna and Wine Specialist Bernard Muscat. Marsovin has so far produced nine vintages of Grand Maitre.

This wine was launched in 2000 and since then has become a collector’s item in Malta. The winery only produced between 5000-8000 bottles each year. Fortunately for the winery each vintage is a complete sell out as the winery only produces what their one hectare vineyard in Ghajn Rihana gives them.

Marsovin has made these tasting notes available online to its Grand Maitre collectors or indeed anyone interested in purchasing a bottle of Grand Maitre. Each vintage is assessed on its ageing potential for which recommended ageing potentials are given.
