The new Pershing design is the combination of the skilled pencil strokes of designer Fulvio De Simoni and the farsighted vision of Tilli Antonelli, Chairman and Founder of the shipyard. The concept of versatility has been encrypted in its DNA.
Owners and their guests are protagonists on the Pershing 108, due to the radically innovative internal layout, featuring areas that can be modified to suit any given situation. Painstaking care has been taken over the elegance of this model, working with well-established partners such as Poltrona Frau and new, exclusive ones, like ErnestoMeda.
The performance of this model is fully in line with Pershing's style and features one important innovation. For the first time ever, the shipyard has decided to fit split engines, focusing on ecology while still maintaining high performance.
The standard version is powered by three 1815kw MTU diesel engines, combined with the thrust applied by three Arneson surface propellers, driving her to a speed of 41 knots.
This cutting-edge technology also offers owners a number of navigation alternatives. The Pershing 108 can sail at 11 knots for 1,070 nautical miles. Of course, she can also maintain a cruise speed of 23 knots when running on two engines.
Architecture, space and design, from stern to bow, were the overriding criteria for this project, making her a reference point for the international nautical industry.
The foredeck bow area features a semicircular sofa and a table that can be lowered to seating height to create a single sundeck area protected by a retractable top. A large upper sundeck has been designed in such a way that it features an area where those aboard can relax in the sun in complete privacy. A small goods lift goes down to the galley.
The cockpit is a vast covered area that can be used both during the day and in the evening, featuring two sofas, a table seating 10, a bar unit and another large sun pad area.
The design of the interior is characterised by the use of Canaletto walnut and subtle indirect lighting. However, natural light is the greatest feature coming through generous side windows and an exclusive concealing salon door, which consists of two independent sections with electro-hydraulic controls that can slide into the floor to create a single area of over 70 m².
In the aft part of the salon, there is a table for 10 and a large C-shaped sofa by Poltrona Frau. The accommodation area consists of a large VIP cabin in the bow, two twin guest cabins, and a full beam master cabin in the centre of the yacht.
Both guest cabins, featuring twin beds and en-suites, are an extraordinary step forward in terms of onboard versatility. Indeed, they allow owners to alter the layout of the cabin according to their requirements. The beds have been designed in such a way they can be set side by side to form either a king-size or two singles.
The large windows, which characterise the master cabin, allow for evocative natural lighting. Different interior layouts are available, making this a semi-customised area and can be fitted with the owner's choice of free standing furniture, i.e. beds, armchairs and tables. Additionally, this area features a walk-in wardrobe or fully equipped studio. The cabin has been finished with a large en-suite and separate sanitary-ware.
A five-cabin version of this model is also available, where the studio/cabin can be replaced with another single cabin.
Crew accommodation is located astern and accessible both from in and outside the yacht. The Pershing 108 also features a creative solution for an important section of the layout, positioning the galley in a passageway in the lower deck.
A large hangar, with drop-down swimming platform, which can house a five-metre tender, is located astern. Pershing 108 provides for a second tender locker in the bow, which can store water toys and a lifting crane.
