Nestlé Fitness is bringing back the tradition of healthy, nutritious breakfasts by hosting a series of complimentary breakfast events in Valletta, Paola and Cospicua respectively. These events are intended to highlight the importance of the presence of wholegrain in a balanced daily diet as well as the importance of starting your day with a healthy breakfast.

A number of popular TV personalities will participate in the Nestlé Fitness breakfast events to have their daily routines scrutinised and assessed by professional nutritionists who will also provide free advice to all those attending the events.

In today’s hectic lifestyle, it is more important to start the day with a healthy bowl of cereal. Nestlé Fitness is committed to help the Maltese people change their habits to a healthier eating pattern through a series of events offering over 1,000 servings of the company’s flagship breakfast cereal distributed for free to adults and children alike together with free advice about healthy eating habits from Claire Spiteri, one of Malta’s leading health consultants.

Nestlé Fitness, one of the world’s most well-loved whole grain cereals, is available in eight flavours – Original, Chocolate, Fruits, Yoghurt, Miele e Mandorle (Honey and Almonds), Muesli Nuts, Muesli Chocolate and Muesli Fruits. Nestlé Fitness cereals are an excellent source of whole grain, which is essential to help reduce and manage your weight while achieving a healthier lifestyle. Dietary fibre from whole grains, as part of an overall healthy diet, helps reduce blood cholesterol levels and may lower risk of heart disease and experts recommend eating at least three servings of whole grain a day.

The Nestlé Fitness breakfast events will also be focusing on the importance of portion control as part of a healthy lifestyle. The daily recommended serving of cereal for breakfast is 30g, to be accompanied by 125ml of milk. These serving guidelines will be adhered to during the Nestlé Fitness breakfasts and fresh local milk will also be served to the public free of charge.
