Dhalia’s Luxury Living had an excellent response following their participation in two seminars and the International Property Fair, entitled ‘Living Abroad’, held in Stockholm last month. The Stockholm property fair, which is held at the Globen Arena, is one of the largest and most prestigious property fairs in Scandinavia. This year it was attended by over 5,000 visitors.

Different to previous years Dhalia’s Luxury Living also hosted two half-day seminars held at the Berns Salonger. The seminars were addressed by Goran Andersson from Taxzero, a retirement planning specialist, John A. Huber, partner at KPMG, James Vassallo representing the Midi Project, Patricia O’Connell from MTA and Inger Soderlund, Dhalia’s business partner in Sweden. The seminars were attended by over 150 delegates ranging from bankers, fund managers, tax consultants, lawyers and a number of high network clients including CEOs representing large Scandinavian corporations. Both seminars sought to explain the local tax regime and regulations when buying property abroad as well as give information on retirement and holidaying in Malta.

At the Stockholm Fair, Dhalia was represented by Michael Mifsud, Manager of Dhalia Luxury Living, and by Inger Soderlund, Dhalia’s business partner in Sweden.

Speaking about the fair, Mr Mifsud said that “the response received from previous visits to Stockholm has encouraged us to return and promote Maltese properties in this very interesting market. In fact our investment in this market is creating various opportunities and a number of visitors at this year’s fair came purposely to enquire about Malta. A few of these visitors have already confirmed their visit to Malta next month.”

Dhalia Real Estate is fast becoming Malta’s agency of choice to most foreign investors seeking to take up residence in Malta. The International Property Fair was also an opportunity for Dhalia to open a window on the vast opportunities emerging in Malta.
