Six Maltese companies have successfully participated in the 30th edition of the ANUGA fair, which was held in Cologne, Germany earlier this month,

The participating companies, presented under the collective name of Malta Food Network, were Borg & Aquilina, C. Cini Manufacturing,Consolidated Biscuits, Darrell Foods, Rimus Riley, and Magro Brothers (Foods).

The Maltese participation at this major international trade event was organised by Malta Enterprise. Participants benefited from the Trade Promotion Incentive Scheme. Appletree International was appointed to coordinate the logistics of the event.

ANUGA is the world’s largest food trade fair incorporating 10 specialised trade shows under one roof, spread over 287,000m2 of exhibition space.

A total of 6.522 companies from 97 countries participated in this year’s edition.

The fair is held bi-annually and the next edition will take place between 8 – 12 October 2011.
