GO Launches free fixed internet and new rates on Internet on the move

This week, GO announced new rates on its Internet On The Move services, starting from e5.99, while also launching ‘Duo Pack’, an innovative bundle of ADSL internet and fixed phone line telephony providing customers with six months free internet.

These new initiatives were announced at a business breakfast forum and make GO the first communications provider in Malta to offer fixed line Internet for free. The new Duo Pack package builds on the strengths of other highly successful packages launched by GO, namely Home Pack and Business Pack. Duo Pack gives customers the convenience of one package containing internet connectivity as well as unlimited GO-to-GO fixed line calls with Talk Anytime and the added convenience of one bill.

Duo Pack is selling at the price of the Talk Anytime monthly rate of e9.99 for the first six months, during which customers get their internet for free, apart from the unlimited phone calls to other GO numbers. After the first six months, Duo Pack is charged at e19.99. In addition, customers who subscribe early can get e10 off a Philips cordless phone.

GO recently also doubled the speed of its entry-level ADSL Internet product at no extra cost to customers. In addition, new Internet customers can benefit from 50 per cent off any new ADSL internet connection for the first three months.

The ‘On The Move’ data/ Internet rates have been simplified and allow customers to access the internet from all devices, ranging from a web-enabled mobile phone, to PDAs, BlackBerry® smartphones, laptops, netbooks and other handheld devices.

In addition, GO also announced that subscribers to the On The Move tariffs can get free unlimited access to several popular web and WAP sites until 31 January. GO has also introduced further discounts on its Internet mobile roaming services around Europe and is offering its data mobile customers the lowest data roaming rate available in the market.

At the business breakfast forum, GO showcased the latest BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone for GO customers in Malta. The handset, the newest addition to the BlackBerry® Curve™ series of smartphones, is available now and can be purchased from GO retail outlets and authorised resellers.

The slim new BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520, an incredibly user-friendly phone and a perfect choice for people who like to be connected, is offered by GO at e270. In addition, GO is offering attractive promotions on the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone for GO mobile customers who opt for one of its GO Pay Monthly plans. It is available at just e70 with the Pay Monthly 20 Plan, while customers who subscribe to either of the Pay Monthly 40 or Pay Monthly 60 plans get their BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 absolutely free.
