The young man, Justin Chircop, 32, who became the fourth victim of the A(H1N1) swine flu virus in Malta is not known to have had any condition which could have aggravated the situation, the Health Division said. As is done after many autopsies, more tests are being conducted.

Since the arrival of the consignment of 100,000 vaccine doses against the swine flu on Monday night, 741 persons had been vaccinated up to 10am yesterday.

From tomorrow the vaccine will be administered at health centres to persons suffering from some chronic disease, and to pregnant women. Eligible persons need to take their identity card with them, the yellow card or their doctor’s reference.
