G. Molton Co. Ltd, the local representatives of Spies Hecker automotive refinishes, have recently entered into a collaboration agreement with local Toyota representative Michael Debono Ltd. The agreement forsees the supply of Spies Hecker’s range of environment-friendly automotive paints for Michael Debono Ltd’s brand new Toyota Body Repair Centre.
Commenting about this new collaboration agreement with Michael Debono Ltd, G. Molton Co. Ltd. director Sandro Zammit said that, “It is of great satisfaction for G. Molton to supply Spies Hecker, one of the world’s top car paint brands, to the new state of the art Toyota car repair centre in Malta. The paint systems being supplied are from the Spies Hecker’s Greentec range of waterborne and low VOC paints, which meet Toyota’s stringent quality standards thus ensuring high quality repair jobs.”
To help spray painters familiarise themselves with these paints, representatives from Michael Debono Ltd’s repair centre have undergone training at Spies Hecker’s state-of-the-art training centre in Cologne, Germany. The collaboration between the two companies has seen G. Molton providing extensive technical support to Michael Debono Ltd during the startup process of this new business unit. This has also been followed up by a recent technical visit from Spies Hecker’s Training Leader, Frank Barduna, who was able to oversee the new painting process at the body shop to ensure that the best results were being achieved
During his visit to Malta Mr Barduna was accompanied by Vainer Mandelli, Regional Sales Manager for Spies Hecker. Mr Mandelli was shown around Michael Debono Ltd’s facilities in Zebbug by Mr Geoffrey Debono and Mr Patrick Clark who commended the high level of technical support being provided by Spies Hecker and their local representatives G. Molton.
