Some of the most famous Italian songs, melodies and operetta arias and duets will be presented on Saturday 13 March at Sala Isouard, Manoel Theatre, Valletta at 7.30pm.  

From Francesco Paolo Tosti to Cesare Andrea Bixio to Lehar’s most famous operettas. From Beniamino Gigli to Mario Del Monaco, from Claudio Villa to Luciano Pavarotti.

Italian operetta singers tenor Andrea Bragiotto and well-known soprano Tiziana Scaciga della Silva will be accompanied by Pianist Deborah Mori from the Teatro Rosetum of.

This concert is organised by Fiesole Artistic Productions with the collaboration of the Italian Cultural Institute. The presentation will be by Albert G Storace.

The repertoire includes Parlami D’amore Mariu’, Lucciole Vagabonde, Chitarra Romana, Marechiare, Il Tango Delle Capinere; La Perichole by Jacques Offenbach, La Principessa Della Czarda by Emmerich Kalman; Il Paese Dei Campanelli  and Cin-Ci-La’ by Carlo Lombardo, La Duchessa Del Bal Tabarin by Leon Bard, Al Cavallino Bianco By Ralph Benatzky and The Merry Widow by Franz Lehar.
