A man was robbed while in his car yesterday by two persons who got away with cash lying in the back of the car, the police said yesterday.
The police were called in at 9.50am, informed that their assistance was needed in Guardamangia Hill, Pieta. When they got there they discovered that a 25-year-old Zabbar man was in his Daihatsu Charade when he was stopped by two persons riding a motorcycle.
One of them was hooded, got off the bike, went up to the car driver brandishing a knife and took an amount of money lying in the back of the car.
Duty magistrate Saviour Demicoli is conducting an inquiry.
