Bank of Valletta and Vodafone customers, who subscribe to the BOV SMS top up service between 15 April and 16 May and successfully top up their mobile phone during the same period have the chance to win a Vodafone VF533 mobile phone.

Every successful top-up within the lottery period gives participants an additional chance in the draw. 40 participants will be drawn by lot and contacted by Vodafone, who will ask the participants a question about Vodafone’s services. If the question is answered correctly the participant will win one of the 40 Vodafone Mobile Phones on offer.

“We are delighted to team up with Vodafone to promote the SMS mobile top up service from BOV,” said Ray Azzopardi, Executive Head responsible for Multichannel Banking at Bank of Valletta. “The SMS mobile top up service enables the customer to top up a mobile phone account instantaneously by simply sending an SMS message. This message is free of charge from the Maltese Islands, while roaming charges apply when abroad.

“This service enables us to support our customers to top up their mobile phone accounts even whilst they are travelling abroad”, continued Mr Azzopardi. “BOV 24*7 customers can apply for the BOV SMS top up service through BOV’s internet Banking or by calling the Bank’s customer service centre on 2131-2020”.
