As a leading international business, ICON’s latest web development endeavour was for FinanceMalta, which was founded to promote Malta as an International Financial Centre. ICON developed a user-friendly, elegantly designed and informative web portal for FinanceMalta, giving it the exposure it deserves.

In addition to giving the web portal a fresh look and an effective and organised layout, ICON also integrated its’ award-winning Content Management System: ICON.snap as well as a banner management tool: ICON.banner. ICON.snap is designed to give moderators complete control of the site by means of a revolutionary approach to content management.

The content management system is flexible and easy to configure; not only is it straightforward to upload text, pictures and videos, but all the information goes online instantly which can be really important in our industry. ICON.banner; a banner-management tool provides the FinanceMalta web portal with advertising spaces which may be utilised to manage company communications. Additionally, the technology offers the chance to track performance generated from such banner adverts.

Aside from this key software, Dr Buttigieg explains that: “The site has also been equipped with a feature that allows members to have their material posted onto our website, as well as a business directory which provides information on all our members with a link to their websites, a calendar of events which promotes conferences organised, co-organised or endorsed by FinanceMalta, and a members’ user area.”
