Malta Independent Tuesday, 27 April 2010, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Over 150 paintings, designs and incisions made by various members of three generations of the Busuttil family are on display in the exhibitions hall of the Gozo Ministry in the Banca Giuratale in Victoria.

The exhibition, ‘The Busuttil Artists – A legacy of three generations’, is made up of works found in various government ministries, the National Museum of Arts, churches in Malta and Gozo and private collections.

The Busuttil family lived for one and a half centuries just metres away from where the exhibition is being held. The exhibition coincides with the Lejlet Lapsi – Notte Gozitana activity being held on 14-16 May. It is open daily until 31 May between 8.30am and 4pm Mondays to Fridays and from 9am to noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Entrance is free.
