Where’s Everybody has been chosen to co-produce a short film named Stalking for Festival de Cannes 2011.
The Croatian actress Nina Moric will play the leading role in the film co-produced by Angie Laus and Pablo Micallef from Where’s Everybody.
Nina Moric, ex-wife of Italian personality Fabrizio Corona, known for his participation in Isola dei Famosi, hit the big time when she appeared in Ricky Martin’s music video ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’.
In Stalking, Moric will play the role of a classical ballerina who is stalked by someone playing a double role and whose real motives are revealed only at the end of the film.
Stalking is supported by Maria Grazia Cucinotta, known for her roles in Il Postino and as the Bond girl in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. The film is written by the up and coming Hollywood screenwriter Stefania Rosella Grassi and directed by Clarita Di Giovanni. It will be submitted for the short film section of Festival de Cannes.
Also taking part are Alessandro Pess, Christian Stelluti, and 2010 Big Brother star Daniele Santoianni.
Lou Bondi, director, Where’s Everybody: “We are proud to have been co-producers for this short film, which Canale Cinque are interested in extending into a TV series, while the short film itself may become a full feature film in the coming year. This international experience will certainly serve our company well.”
