The Grand Hotel Excelsior is offering a prize for the best Grand Gesture that a family will make for their Mum on Mother’s Day. Participants are asked to visit the Excelsior facebook page where they can write about their grandest gesture in recognition for all their mother’s Tender Loving Care. For the most impressive story, the Excelsior is offering the winning SuperMum a one-night stay at the luxury five-star Excelsior for two people on Saturday 8 May followed by a free five-star lunch for 4 on Mother’s Day, Sunday 9 May.

A special Excelsior Buffet Lunch menu has been created for all Mums in recognition of their great work. Served at the Spice Island Restaurant, it will include 5 different regional cuisine stations (including an Indian Tandoori station, a Turkish station, a Live Pasta station, a Carvery station, and a Warm Delicacy station). The Mother’s Day menu also features a Middle Eastern Dip Corner, four main courses including Baked Darne of Scottish Salmon, tempting creations from the Pastry Chef and the Grand Excelsior Chocolate Fountain.
