Court: Three Years probation for loitering and prostitution

A man was given a probation order after he was found guilty of prostitution and loitering.

Natale Bonello, 35 from Birgu together with another man was apparently loitering for prostitution in Mellieha. Another man stopped to give them a ‘lift’ and they stole €970 from him. The case goes back to 5 March.

Mr Bonello was found guilty of encouraging others to get involved in immoral practices and at the same time of committing robbery. Mr Bonello was also accused of relapsing.

Lawyers Franco Debono and Charmaine Cherrett appeared for the accused.
