The Hilton Malta is happy to welcome a number of highly promising individuals to its dedicated sales team. These latest recruits include a variety of seasoned veterans as well as enthusiastic newcomers who bring their potential and innovation to the groundbreaking team.
Among them is Martina Abela whose tasks include ensuring the satisfaction and loyalty of guests in her position as Conference and Events co-ordinator. Other recent acquisitions are Franklin Azzopardi and Heather Pearson as Conference and Events executives. Franklin has over six years of experience in the field whereas Heather first joined the Hilton team eight years ago – during which she experienced a multitude of different facets of the hotel.
Last summer, Hilton Malta saw Sharon Borg Ferrando join the team as a Sales manager. Sharon has been working within this field for the past eight years and her new role has her promoting Hilton Malta on a local as well as an international level. A few months later, Noel Falzon became an Assistant Director of Sales bringing with him a strong operational background of over 23 years of experience.
Alexia Sultana is the new Corporate executive and for the past year she has been fielding new business from local corporate entities towards the hotel. The team was also pleased to welcome Karl Grech (pictured) who assumes the position of Training manager. Karl possesses an extensive CV which includes an MBA in Management and Consulting and managing the Industry Human Resources Development Unit at the Malta Tourism Authority.
The most recent recruit to the Hilton Malta team is Ruth Azzopardi who joined the team in March as Assistant Revenue and Yield manager. Ruth’s 13 years of managerial experience at luxury hotels throughout Sicily and Malta are reinforced by a diploma in Hotel Administration from the Institute of Tourism Studies and two years of internships in Scotland and the US.
