Chairmen’s Remuneration

The remuneration received by Ing Francis E Farrugia, chairperson of the Malta Standards Authority is €9,084 a year while that received by the chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority, Louis A. Farrugia, is €16,305 a year, the prime minister told Chris Agius (PL).

However, while the members of the MSA get €2,795 a year (unless they are ex-officio), the members of the MTA board get €1,211 a year plus €93 every time they meet.
