Mediterranean Bank plc is announced that it has launched Sterling Fixed Term Deposit accounts at new and improved interest rates.

The Bank is offering among the highest rates available on the market ranging from 2.75 per cent annually for one-year fixed term accounts up to 4 per cent for five-year fixed term deposits. Two, three- and four-year term deposits are also available. Interest is paid regularly according to the term desired.

A Savings Account is also available in Sterling, presently paying an interest rate of 0.375 per cent per annum.

Mediterranean Bank operates under the depositor compensation scheme established under the laws of Malta, guaranteeing up to €100,000 or equivalent per person.
