As part of its centenary celebrations this year, APS Bank sponsored the production of Oratorio Kristu Sultan penned by Prof. Oliver Friggieri on the original musical composition of Prof. Mro Dion Buhagiar.

The Oratorio Kristu Sultan was held earlier this month at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. The event forms part of the Paola Parish Centenary Celebrations Programme and was held in collaboration with The Metropolitan Cathedral Chapter and the St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation. The soloists, soprano Claire Caruana, mezzo soprano Claire Massa, tenor Francis Mangion and base Noel Galea, together with the Collegium Musicum orchestra and choir under the direction of Mro. Dion Buhagiar gave an excellent performance making this event a memorable one for all those present.
