The Westin Dragonara Resort and Le Meridien St Julian’s will be organising a fundraising lunch BBQ on 19 September 2010 at Le Meridien St Julian’s. This lavish BBQ will be sold at €20 for adults, while children under three years eat free of charge and children up to 12 years eat at just €10. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF to support Starwood’s Road to Awareness campaign.

Thanks to your support, next year 1,500 children in South Africa will receive a better education and improve their prospects for the future. Starwood’s funding will help UNICEF to improve conditions in schools and help guarantee that schools are safe and protective environments where children can realise their full potential.

This BBQ forms part of a UNICEF fundraising day that both properties are organising. Associates and gym members will be participating in a triathlon which commences at 9.30am from Westin and ends at Le Meriden. The fundraising BBQ will then commence at noon
