This autumn, the Valletta Waterfront will be celebrating Halloween in a special manner, by organising the first ever ‘Carve-a-Pumpkin’ National Contest. Anyone, from individuals to groups of friends who want to test their creativity and carving skills, is invited to take part. All pumpkins entered into the contest will be exhibited on Sunday, 31 October at the Magazino Hall, Valletta Waterfront.

All submissions will be judged by an specially-selected panel. The winner will be selected according to the skill shown in carving and decorating the pumpkin and the originality of the design.

The prize fund consists of a cruise holiday for two people onboard the MSC Fantasia cordially provided by Hamilton Travel Co Ltd, exclusive Malta General Sales Agents for MSC Cruises, as a first prize. The runner-up will win a relaxing weekend break for two people in a luxurious Designer Suite at the five-star The Palace in Sliema.
