An HP Converged Infrastructure seminar took place at a by-invitation-only event held at the Hotel Westin Dragonara for HP’s respected and valued local customers and business partners. The seminar was dedicated to a group of high level representatives & decision makers from various local business sectors including IT companies, bank representatives and telecoms, amongst other valuable local institutions and press.

HP Data Protection which is becoming more and more crucial for businesses was presented in more detail. The HP StorageWorks D2D Backup Systems with HP StoreOnce deduplication provide disk-based data protection for data centers and remote offices. Automate and consolidate the backup of multiple servers onto a single, rack-mountable device while improving reliability by reducing errors caused by media handling.
A further topic was held by the HP networking group presenting their latest developments. HP is raising the bar through innovation to deliver a differentiated portfolio of edge to core and data center networking solutions, complemented by global service and support capabilities. Combining 3Com, H3C, TippingPoint and HP networking and security solutions, HP is creating a global networking powerhouse that enables a simplified, more flexible fabric.
In the enterprise services presentation we will review some of the solutions and capabilities that HP obtained with the acquisition of EDS in 2008. The topic will be the offering in the application and outsourcing services, specifically we will look at the examples of our offering related to eHealth Solutions for the public sector, Cash Management for the financial institutions and HP’s SAP services offering for all the segments.
HP’s Personal Systems Group presented the newest HP Notebook PCs, focusing on Mobility, which, in this day and age is an absolute necessary for those businesses and professionals constantly on the go.
The Imaging & Printing Group presentation focused on the Large Format Printers which are the “sign” of present and future when it comes to outdoor advertising capabilities and an opportunity for all local businesses to expand their visibility more effectively.
