Marie Benoit meets DORIANNE BONDIN, Manager of the Cosmetic clinic Transforma
Dorianne is 30-years-old and has been working with the St James Hospital group since she was 16-years of age. She started off as a part-timer while she was still at 6th form. In due course she was promoted to the post of administrator. Today she manages Transforma, the cosmetic clinic within the group. She works between 45 to 50 hours a week. Dorianne is also a well-known face on the catwalk and in magazines for she is a part-time model, compère and television presenter, too.
She is an only child and admits that when she was younger she missed having brothers and sisters. As in her childhood days friends are very important in her life as is her boyfriend Keith Richard.
Here are her brief answers to some brief questions.
I love eating meat and delicious pizza.
When I have some free time to spare I love swimming and sunbathing in the hot summer months. But I also practice retail therapy all the year round which I find utterly relaxing. When I am shopping I tend to forget everything. So when particularly stressed or feeling ‘down’ I know the answer to snap out of these is to reward myself with a lovely pair of shoes or dress. And hey presto once I get out of the shop with my purchases I suddenly feel better!
My favourite holiday destination is Japan which has an entirely different culture and where I can practice retail therapy to my heart’s content especially in the fashion field.
My dream job is my present job as I feel I really fit into the Transforma team. In the future I’ll probably leave half my salary behind as I would need to have a treatment or two as I age.
My kind of music is soft rock to listen to at home or while driving. I also like U2 and Muse. As to party music. I love dancing so anything to which I can dance.
If I won the lottery I would buy a house with a huge pool and a terrace to sunbathe; loads of clothes and I would also get a one way ticket round the world until I spend all my lottery money and I would have no choice but to come back – and return to work.
My motto is live each day as if it were your last.
