More than 13,000 people flocked to The Point Shopping Mall at Tignè Point last Sunday and took advantage of an hour’s free parking at Tigne’ Point’s underground car park.
Edwin Borg, General Manager at The Point expressed his satisfaction that on Sunday The Point was a hive of activity from 10.30am till the complex closed at 7.30pm. The Point, Malta’s largest shopping mall, houses 50 retail outlets including some of the best known international brands on the island.
In a comment to the press Mr Borg said that The Point will be opening all day every Sunday until the end of December and is currently offering free parking for the first hour to shoppers.
He concluded by saying that visitors are mainly attracted by the overwhelming choice of fashion labels the mall carries, but shoppers are also enjoying the open pjazza and its cafes, the public pathways, open views and ambiance of Tignè Point in general.
