Baron Homes Promoted in South Africa

Malta Independent Saturday, 27 November 2010, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

Baron Group has recently travelled to South Africa where they had the opportunity to promote Baron Homes: the residential/real estate branch of their businesses. The trip, which was organised by the real estate company Fine and Country last month, saw Baron promote in a special way their Hillock Residences and also the beautifully restored Gozitan farmhouses, both of which caused quite a stir in the up and coming South African market.

The trip to South Africa was a very productive opportunity for marketing Baron, with the Group’s delegation meeting a number of Fine and Country real estate agents based in South Africa, and receiving very positive responses. “Renowned for their professionalism and painstaking care for details, Baron have always strived to participate in initiatives that benefit of society in general, and this trip to South Africa was not only meant as promotion for our properties but also for Gozo itself. Indeed, a number of Baron clients in South Africa have expressed their interest in travelling to Gozo, with the aim of not only enjoying the charms of the island but also of seeking possible business opportunities,” said Mr. Anthony Ellis managing director of Baron Group.

During their stay in South Africa Baron also participated in the Fine & Country South Africa Convention and the Fine & Country International Property Expo. There Baron presented formally to the South African market the residential block of 150 apartments located on the site of the former Atlantis Hotel in Marsalforn Bay, in Gozo, and which are now known as the Hillock Residences. Of interest to prospective clients was the fact that the project is being built in one phase over three years, as well as the fact that the residences will make the most of the latest ‘green-technology’ to ensure it is environmentally-friendly. Baron’s restored farmhouses were, on the other hand, admired for their sheer beauty, the fantastic locations around Gozo and the high standards of the restoration-work carried out, which has indeed become Baron Group’s trademark. These farmhouses are scattered among the small villages and towns of Gozo and are a source of pride not only for the Group but especially for their owners.
