Malta Stock Exchange listed company 6PM has signed a new contract to deliver its CareSolutions Data Warehouse to Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The Trust, formed in 1998 following the merger of Crawley, Horsham and East Surrey NHS Trusts, provides over 500,000 treatments each year, some of which are groundbreaking surgical procedures, and serves a growing population of 400,000 residents of east Surrey and northeast West Sussex.
CareSolutions will be used to provide all of the Trust’s reporting and management information requirements using data loaded from core clinical systems such as its Cerner Millennium implementation.
Commenting on the contract, Ian Mackenzie, Director of Business Intelligence and Technology, said: “We are very pleased to form a commercial relationship with 6PM as our teams enjoy a very open and flexible relationship together. This, coupled with the fact that the 6PM product suite is based on industry standard Microsoft products, meant that after a competitive tendering process there was only one organisation we wished to form such a strategic relationship with.”
Executive Director Steve Wightman added: “We are very excited about the prospect of working closely with the Surrey and Sussex. Their selection of the CareSolutions DW is further evidence that we have built the right architectures for an NHS Trust and we have the appropriate price points that
represent true value for money.”
