Enrico Depasquale has been appointed Legal and Compliance Officer of MSV Life plc.

Dr Depasquale holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Malta following his graduation in 2005. joined MSV Life in February 2006 as part of the company’s Benefits Unit, where his main responsibilities were all the legal aspects of life insurance claims.

Commenting on Dr Depasquale’s appointment, MSV Life CEO David G. Curmi said the appointment follows the implementation of the Board’s decision to transform MSV Life into a self-sufficient, stand-alone company.

Mr Curmi added: “The compliance function is an essential element of an effective system of governance that provides for the sound and prudent management of our business and Dr Depasquale’s appointment will serve to strengthen this important function.”
