AGL - Alliance Group together with Corinthia Hotels Malta and the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) joined forces in Antwerp, Belgium, to promote Malta as a first-rate conference and incentive destination to the Belgian market.
Organised by destination management company AGL-Alliance Group, , a total of 20 group organisers from agencies and corporate companies in Belgium were treated to a taste of Malta and Maltese hospitality on their home soil.
The event was hosted by Mario Borg of AGL - Alliance Group, Nadine Pecorella of Corinthia Hotels Malta and Marianne Hoogeveen of the MTA in Belgium, with the invaluable support of Paul Cools, who is the Honorary Consul of Malta in Antwerp. Guests were welcomed at the Maltese Consulate for an interactive presentation on Malta highlighting the unique benefits and facilities it offers the conference and incentive market
The group later enjoyed dinner and top entertainment at the Night of the Proms 2010, where renowned performers included Sir Cliff Richard and Grace Jones. Air Malta representative Angelo Sciberras and the Ambassador for Malta, Pierre Clive Agius were also in attendance.
